This is the Beretta 686 Onyx Covey Quail Unlimited edition and it is chambered in 20 GA 3\" with a 26 inch barrel. It is famously marked with \"ONIX\" near the serial number and features a beautifully engraved receiver with gold accents. This special edition field shotgun built by Beretta in the early 2000s was part of a conservation partnership with Quail Unlimited. It was based on the proven 680-series action, one of Beretta’s most successful over/under shotgun platforms.

According to Beretta’s catalog:
– Only 750 guns per gauge were produced worldwide
– Each gun featured gold-filled quail engravings and Quail Unlimited markings
– Receivers were finished in a gloss black “Onyx" style (sometimes styled \"Onix\" as an italian/european factory marking)
