PAIR, 12 GAUGE, SIDEPLATED, EJECTORS, 30" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER & MODIFIED, 3", SINGLE SELECTIVE INERTIA TRIGGERS, AUTOMATIC SAFETY, ROUND KNOB GRIP, GAME FORE-END, CHECKERED WOODEN BUTTPLATE, 7 LBS 10 OZ, 15-1/2" LOP

Italian made matched pair of 12-gauge sideplated game guns with 30-inch blued round nitro-proved Excelsior high-strength alloyed steel barrels that are fitted with ejectors, ventilated machined top ribs, solid side ribs and brass bead front sights. Proved for 3-inch cartridges and choked improved cylinder & modified. Left side of the top barrels are marked "12 GA. 3" - 30" M000 / IC0000" while the left side is marked "BERETTA USA CORP. ACCK. MD" and "WARNING - READ INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR SAFE OPERATION / BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA" Ribs near the breeches are gold-inlaid "1" and "2" respectively. The coin finish action bodies are adorned with game scenes and supporting scrolls that the engraver "Bottega C Giovanelli" signed on the left side of the trigger plates while the right sides are marked "PATENTED". The right sideplates depict two woodcocks in a field while the left sideplates feature three pheasants in a field. The bottoms of the action bodies read "P BERETTA" in script / S687 EELL / Diamond Pigeon" in script and "MADE IN ITALY", "S" inside ovals on top tangs ahead of the scored slide safeties incorporating the barrel selectors and serial numbers / "DIAMOND PIGEON" on top tangs underneath the top levers. Gold-Inlaid "1" & "2" on the top levers, ribs near breeches and fore-end release levers. The sidelplated boxlock actions are fitted with coin finished scroll engraved top levers that both sides of the thumbpieces are checkered and automatic serrated safeties incorporating the barrel selector. The gold-washed single selective inertia triggers are protected by coin finished and scroll engraved trigger guards. Rich honey colored deluxe quality Turkish walnut stocks with highly figured contrasting dark smokey marbling, round knob pistol grips, pistol grips have fine 2-panel point pattern checkering with borders and vacant stock ovals. Game fore-ends with matching checkering, scroll engraved Deeley type lever releases. 15-1/2-inch LOP's to checkered wooden buttplates with the Beretta trident logo. The guns live in the maker's blue double ABS case.
