Per the 2005 Beretta Catalog:
Beretta shotguns are carried with pride on every continent. Once in a while, though, Beretta offers
a gun strictly for the American hunter, and the Silver Pigeon IV is the latest example. In contrast to most Beretta over-unders, it has a rich black frame, accented by gold inlays that reflect the typical quarry for each gauge. The 12-gauge features duck and pheasant, while quail and grouse take flight on the 20- and 28-gauge models. A hand-filled beavertail fore-end caters to traditional American tastes. It’s a striking gun that stands out-even among other Berettas.
The buttstock can be capped with a shock-absorbing Gel-Tek recoil pad (provided). The stock also includes a gold oval inlay for inscribing your initials. Buttstock and the hand-filled fluted beavertail fore-end are of select fancy walnut and checkered in a bordered point pattern. The TruGlo Tru-Bead front sight (not installed) will make pointing easy even in early morning or at twilight.
