Beretta Giubileo (Jubilee) 28 gauge O/U


Description:
Beretta Giubileo (Jubilee) O/U shotgun in 28 gauge.

The Giubileo is the pinnacle of the Beretta 687 series shotguns with hand finishing and detailing by the craftsmen in the "SO" custom shop.  The guns first came on the scene in the late 1990's an then only in Beretta Gallery stores and from a very few Beretta authorized Gallery dealers.  This particular 28 gauge is serial number 100B making it one of the very first 28 gauge Giubileo's in 1998.

Please note that since this is an early Giubileo is may have been completely hand engraved with later models being machine engraved and hand chased.  A very good indication is that the engraving is signed both by the studio:  C Giovanelli.  And also signed by the Master Engraver:  F Grarioli!

Built on the scaled 28 gauge frame with 26 1/2" vent rib barrels and factory fitted for Mobil Chokes

Complimenting the fine metal work is exceptional wood with the pistol grip butt stock and the Schnabel forearm both finely checkerd and hand rubbed oil finish.  The stock has a 14 1/8" length of pull over a 1/2" full leather recoil pad.  1 3/8" drop at the comb.  2 1/16" drop at the heel with slight right hand cast.

The gun weighs 5 lbs. 13 oz.  There are a couple of small handling marks on the forearm but overall the gun retains 98% original finishes.
