This Beretta Silver pigeon has been meticulously maintained by our gunsmiths and looks stunning. Manufactured in 1999 this Silver Pigeon is serial numbered N04868B. The gun features Beretta’s bright corrosion resistant Nitride finish on the receiver, fences, tangs, and trigger guard. This beautiful finish is complimented by highly figured wood showing fine fiddleback and prominent mineral rings with hand cut checkering and a Schnabel forend- this is outstanding wood and better than found on any equivalent new-in-the-box Silver Pigeon today! The 12 11/16” length of pull is ideal for shorter statured individuals but if you would like to re-stock this gun new stocks can be had for a few hundred dollars, modifications can be made quickly in our gunsmithing department, please call to enquire. Mechanically the Silver Pigeon locks up when two conical bolts in the face of the receiver move forward upon closing to enter and engage two matching machined cutouts in the monobloc for a tight and secure lock-up. The action has a single trigger and a selective automatic safety. The barrel has a mirror bore, screw in chokes and strong and well-timed ejectors. Ideal for upland hunting this Pigeon has chokes in IC/M/IM/F constrictions which should cover you for most scenarios hunting grouse, pheasant, and quail and more, it will do an admirable job on the clay courses too.
