Both guns are built on sideplated boxlock actions with single selective triggers, auto-safeties, and timed ejectors. Each wears 29.5" solid mid-rib barrels chambered for 3" shells, and both are supplied with full sets of Teague premium thin-wall choke tubes—six per gun with fitted cases and keys. Dimensions are very close between the pair, with gun No. 1 measuring 1.375" drop at comb and 2" at heel, while gun No. 2 measures 1.5" and 2.25" respectively. Length of pull on both is 15.25" to leather-covered pads, with overall weight of 6 lbs 6 oz each, giving ideal balance for driven bird shooting. The coin-finished sideplated actions are masterfully engraved by Bottega C. Giovanelli, each signed by the engraver at the trigger guard. The left side of each depicts three pheasants in a field scene, while the right carries two snipe in a mountain setting, all framed by delicate floral scroll. The bottom of each action bears the “P. Beretta S687 EELL Diamond Pigeon” banner amid scroll. In addition, both guns are individually numbered in gold “1” and “2” on the top barrels near the breech, on the toplevers, and on the forend releases, confirming them as a properly matched pair. Stocks are straight-gripped walnut of deluxe quality, with sharp checkering, rich grain, and schnabel forends. Leather-covered pads complete the configuration. Both guns show only faint wear typical of careful use, with clear bores, crisp triggers, tight lock-up, and strong ejectors, making them mechanically excellent. The pair is housed together in a Beretta double case with choke tubes, Teague key, and Beretta felt sleeves.
