Description:

The Beretta AL391 is an excellent shotgun eitherr for hunting birds or for clay target games such as trap and skeet.  The AL391 is mechanically similar to its predecessor, the AL390, but has a slimmer fore-end, a different shaped stock and has an aluminum receiver, which reduces the weight of the gun. The magazine holds three rounds, providing a total capacity of four rounds, which can be reduced using a magazine plug. The gun has a magazine cut-off, which can be engaged to remove or replace a chambered shell without feeding a new round from the magazine.  In addition, the AL391 has a self-compensating gas-driven recoil system which provides the advantage of automatically adjusting for shot shells with different charges and therefore different amounts of recoil. It is designed to cycle the action reliably when using a wide variety of shells, while minimizing felt recoil.  This gun is chambered in 20 gauge, and sports a 24" barrel with a 13.5" LOP, making it perfect for shooters of smaller stature including younger shooters and many females.  Mechanically, this gun is perfect, with a clean shiny bore and would rate a solid Excellent Condition except for a few minor marks (mostly on the forearm), which lowers the grading to a Very Good Plus level (see pictures).  This offering is for the gun only, with Improved Cylinder Optima-Choke installed, no box or paperwork are included.
