1972 - Mi-Val / Beretta - Model 401 Rebounding Hammer Double - 12ga, 2-3/4", 28" M / F (.017/.040), Extractors, Double Triggers - Front Articulated, Prince of Wales Grip, LOP 14-1/4", Drop 1-3/8" to 2-1/4", Very Slight Cast Off, Weight - 6 lbs. 15 oz.
These guns are virtually identical to the Beretta Model 401. Based on years of observation, I belive Beretta discontinued the 401 in the 1960s and we start to see these guns marked "Mi-Val Licensed by Beretta." I did some research once and found that Beretta owned Mi-Val during this period.
