This Beretta “Gallery” over/under shotgun is built with blued Excelsior steel barrels, featuring dual bead sights on a matted vent rib, 1999-dated Italian proof marks, interchangeable chokes (improved cylinder and modified installed), and 3-inch chambers with automatic ejectors.

The barrels are paired to a coin-finished sideplated action adorned with extensive Acanthus scroll engraving surrounding the underside “Beretta/Gallery” marking. The triggerplate bears the signature “Bottega C. Giovanelli,” denoting the renowned Italian engraving firm. Functional features include an adjustable single gold trigger and a tang-mounted manual safety with barrel selector.

It is fitted with a highly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved forend iron, as well as a full pistol grip stock with a blank inscription oval and Kick-Eez recoil pad.

Included with the shotgun is a non-matching factory box.

Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved and measured at 18.4mm (.724 inches); minimum wall thickness .036/.039 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches; weight 8 lbs.

Condition

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
