This EXQUISITE shotgun is in used condition and features a 5 pin Holland and Holland style side lock action, 25 1/2" Boehler steel barrels chambered in 2 3/4", fully engraved reciever with gold push pins, checkered walnut stock with silver shield inlay, checkered/diamond pattern forend with engraved push button release, gold trigger, trigger guard is blued with light engraving, beaded fences, auto-ejectors, steel bead front and mid sights, and reco il pad. The left barrel is stamped with 3 stars "MOD" choke and the right barrel is stamped with 4 stars "IMP. CYL" choke. DO NOT consider shooting this until you have the information verified by a good gunsmith that knows shotguns and how to read proof marks. Serial #25162 Standard Italian proof mark (XXVI) on the flat dates it to 1970. OAL - 42 1/2", LOP 14"
The detailed engraving on this shotgun is a work of art and speaks for itself. The coin finished receiver is hand engraved and signed by V. Temponi. This shotgun has a overall nice patina and retains 98% of its bluing on the barrels with some light marks here and there. The wood has some light dings and scratches, but no cracks. ALL original matching numbers and proper...this shotgun is a must-have for any collector or gun enthusiast.
