Description:
Boss & Co. 20 ga.,  28" chopper lump barrels, 2-3/4" chambers, 1 oz. proof.  Both barrels choked extra full (.040/.040).  Built circa 1932.  Single trigger, auto ejectors and auto safe.  The action shows the fabulous engraving of Jack Sumner and retains the distinctive subtle case colors of the period.  This beautiful example has been completely renovated by the factory in 2000 including new stock and barrels.  Bores measure as new and wall thickness 035 .  Tight on the face and lever to the right.  Like buying a new gun.   Highly figured stock with bold contrasting black figure measures 1-3/8", comb 2-1/4" heel, 14-7/8" to a checkered butt.  Presently cast on 3/8" for left hand shooter, could be easily reset for right hand.  The best of both worlds features pre-war style of Sumner engraving and barrels as new production.  Just weighing in at the sweet spot 5 lbs., 12 oz.
