This very rare gun made between the wars as a lightweight game gun built originally with 26" barrels. Slim forend is beautifully checkered and has fully engraved iron with Anson type push button release. Frame is most certainly engraved by Sumner in finest rose and scroll as seen in the photos with locks each having 4 beautiful boquets. Gun made with Boss Single trigger. The prince of wales ball grip buttstock is beautifully figured as seen in the photos and terminates with an aging leather covered pad. The gun is housed in what appears to be its original Boss leather case with accessories.
This gun remains in prime overall condition. Barrels with nearly all of their beautiful rust blue. Frame with beautiful original engraving and some flashes of original case color remain. Stocks are sound and near mint as factory serviced. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect. Case is very good as are accessories.
