A heritage true pair of cased Boss & Co side by side 12 bore assisted opening sidelock ejector guns with 28” with plain game rib barrels. Both guns are choked improved cylinder and improved modified and the spare set of barrels for gun 1 is choked improved modified and full. 15 1/8” length of pull over a checkered butt.
Both guns sport about neutral cast straight English stocks, non-selective Boss single trigger on a round bar action, auto-safety, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the small button style safety catch, single brass front bead, gold lined cocking indicator, rolled edge trigger guard, removable striker discs, gold inlaid star on the spare barrels for gun 1, gold inlaid “1” and “2” on barrels, forend, and top lever of both guns, and vacant gold ovals. The guns were proofed in London in 1980 with 2 ¾” chambers. The spare barrels for gun 1 were proofed in London in 1981 with 2 ¾” chambers.
House rose and scroll engraving. Case color hardened actions and blued furniture with about 75% case colors remaining. Near new exhibition grade walnut stocks and checkering. Pristine bores and near new bluing on barrels. Top lever in center position for gun 1 and slightly right of center for gun 2. Gun 1 barely off face on the right barrel and gun 2 on face. Ejectors in time for gun 1 and slightly out of time for gun 2.
