Boss & Co. 12 ga., 28" chopper lump barrels feature a raised game rib.  Choked  improved cylinder in both barrels (.007/.007). Chambers 2-3/4", proofed 1-1/8 oz.   Bores 731/731 walls min. 26/27.  Automatic ejectors, single trigger, auto safe.  Built circa 1925, the action is crisp and unpolished retaining rich case colors that serve as a canvas for the exquisite engraving by the celebrated Jack Sumner.  Splinter for end straight hand stock of wonderful French walnut showing black figure against an amber and gold background. Measurement are 1-1/2" comb 2-3/8" heel, 13-3/4" LOP over a 3/4" inch leather pad to rear position single trigger.  Slight cast right hand.  Clean crisp trigger pulls and strong ejectors.  This is just out of the Chubb estate of Chubb Insurance family.  A golden era example of a lightweight Boss 6 lbs., 6oz.
