Offered here for sale is a newly acquired lightweight side by side shotgun from Italy. The Breda Acciaio Speciale is a distinguished Italian-made 20-gauge side-by-side shotgun renowned for its craftsmanship and elegance. Manufactured by Breda Fucili, a company with over 120 years of experience in producing high-quality firearms, the Acciaio Speciale exemplifies the brand's commitment to excellence in design and performance .?
This specimen  boasts a coined silver finish on receive, a hallmark of Breda's meticulous fine hand-finishing process. This involves hand polishing, brushing, and engraving.  The shotgun retains its original blue-black finish on the barrels, and appears to have seen light use. The barrels are  Modified and Modified choked  for various shooting scenarios. It appears from examining the stock that the stock was shortened most likely for a youth. As the owner grew, a fiberglass extension measuring 1.5 inches was added, along with a spacer and recoil pad, resulting in a more standard length of pull of 14.5 inches which it is now. The modification was done very well. The shotgun exhibits minor use marks on the wood and a small bruise on the underside of the stock but otherwise is solid. A fine example of Italian firearm craftsmanship.
