This Browning A5 was mfg under license by Remington from 1940-47, due to Browning's military contracts.they used Browning's tooling & all milled parts.
They are all of exceptional quality & have become very scarce, particulary in this 16g.Grade 1 configuration.
It appears to have very little usage. The bluing is of the 1940's era which is a lighter gray.It is abt 95%. It has a 28 inch long roung barrel w/a full choke designation * & uses a 2/3/4" Shell. The bore is shiney. & bright.
The Buttstock & Forearm are abt 97%. To me they may have been an earlier restoration.
The serial No. is "A19178".This might be consodered agood choice for the Browning Collector who
wants acomplete inventory of A-5's.
I would rate this Browning A5 as an "NRA" VG to Excellent.
