This semi-auto shotgun is a Browning Auto-5 Magnum chambered in 12 Gauge (3 inch shells). The Browning A-5 is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. It was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun design, and remained in production until 1998. The name of the shotgun designates that it is an autoloader with a capacity of five rounds, four in the magazine and one in the chamber. It has a magazine cutoff, engraved scroll receiver, swivels top and bottom, vent rib, round knob, and original Browning butt pad. This shotgun has been updated with a Browning Japan Auto-5 barrel with interchangeable chokes. The metal is in very good condition with some noticeable handling wear and the furniture shows some light marring and scuff marks consistent with a gun of this age. It comes with the original Browning Auto-5 Owners Manual. 12 Gauge
