HARDER TO FIND EARLY ONE WITH FACTORY VENT RIB BOTH # 1948 BY SERIAL# front sliding safety - A-5 belgium 28 inch mod.choke.vent rib,mirror bore. older one marked browning arms co. st. louis mo.on left side of reciever.also made in belgium on barrel. solid gun.forend has no cracks. stock has 1 hairline crack on toe about 3/4 of a inch long, by recoil pad.all wood is solid except this small spot. original finish on wood &metal 141/4 inch pull to pad. metal has some frecking-spotting mainly on reciever.
