This Browning Superposed is from the Templeton Family Trust Collection. It is being offered because the collection is being adjusted to include only single guns of a particular model or gauge, offering for sale those duplicates or models which closely approximate those which continue to be held in the collection. There are approximately twenty high-grade small-gauge Superposeds, including several custom Exhibition Grade side-plate guns by Angelo Bee and Rocco Capece and several multi-barrel/multi-gauge sets that will be offered for sale in the coming weeks.
Midas Grade .410 Superlight square-frame, schnabel forend. Choked modified and improved cylinder. 26” barrels.
Outstanding exhibiton grade wood, engraved collaboratively by two of F.N.’s finest engravers, Louis Bleus and R. Kowalski. Stunning detail in engraving of pheasants and ducks. As new, with Browning fitted luggage case and factory letter.
