Description:
This is a hard to find Browning Superposed Presentation Grade P 1 E made in 1977 (first year) and signed by J. Baerten. Only early P1 guns were signed by a Browning master engraves. This fine shotgun has 27.5 inch blue barrels with a vent rib and a single silver front bead. The receiver is the P 1 E pattern with Mallards in flight and oak leafs and acorns. The walnut stock is Presentation grade with great figure. This shotgun has been used in the field and has many small dings in the stock and small cracks on both sides of the forearm. The blue is very strong with a touch of muzzle wear and marks in front of the forearm. The receiver has a few spots but still looks great. This shotgun is not perfect but it gives you a chance to buy a P gun that is signed by a Master engraver at a very fair price.

Triggers: Single gold color with some gold wear.
Stock: Very nice Presentation grade walnut with a checkered flat knob.
