Here we have a gorgeous example of Belgian craftsmanship, chambered in 12 Gauge, with a Barrel length of 26.5".
Browning Superposed "LIGHTNING" over / under shotgun. The wood grain and color on this beauty is exceptional.
Manufacture date around 1965.
Vent rib with bead front sight. Receiver engraved in standard scrolls and vines and marked "LIGHTNING BROWNING" in script on bottom of receiver.
Stocks are varnished checkered round pistol grip with Browning black butt plate. Wood is finely checkered and finish remains beautiful and smooth, there is some very light handling wear (see photos for condition).
Finish is in very good condition, there is some light pitting on receiver behind trigger gaurd, and ejectors as well as the action function as they should, the bore is bright.
Single selective gold plated trigger.
Overall a quality, classic shooter to own.
