AT THE TIME,BROWNING/FN DID NOT HAVE THE SKILLED ENGRAVERS FOR SILVER AND GOLD INLAYS,INSTEAD THEY USED GIFTED OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS. ACCORDING TO BROWNING ARCHIVES,THIS GUN WAS PURCHASED IN GERMANY.
