Offered for sale is a 20-gauge Browning Superposed Lightening made in Belgium in 1965 (serial # 36011
V5). This over/under shotgun is fitted with 26 ½ inch vent rib barrels, 2 ¾”and 3” chambers, is choked
Improved Cylinder/Modified, has mid and front beads and is in exceptional shape. This Browning sports
a Lightening frame, a slim field/hunting forearm, a walnut round knob stock with a long tang trigger
guard, a well preserved gold single selective trigger and a safety tang with barrel selector. It features
excellent crisp Grade I scroll engraving and still has the original hard plastic butt pad. The stock
measures a LOP of 14 ¼”, DAC of 2 ½”, and DAH of 1 5/8”. Overall, this gun weighs 6 lbs. This
Superposed Lightening with classic RKLT, exceptional wood and engraving is sought after by both
collectors and shooters, alike.
