The Browning Superposed was the last firearm designed by John Moses Browning, which was finalized by his son Val Allen Browning for production to start in 1931. This example is a Grade 1 Superposed manufactured in 1967, and is in very good overall condition, with only the normal wear for its age in the form of a few light scratches on the metal. The stocks likewise are in good condition, however they appear to have been re finished with an oil finish, and a Pachmayr vented recoil pad installed.
