Offered for sale is an exceptionally well preserved Browning Superposed Grade I 20 Gauge shotgun manufactured in Belgium in 1965. Designed by the legendary John M. Browning and completed by his son Val Browning, the Superposed remains one of the most influential and collectible over/under shotguns ever produced.

This example is fitted with 28 inch ventilated rib barrels chambered for both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. The barrels are fixed choked Modified and Full and are equipped with a single brass front bead. The gun features the highly desirable single selective trigger, round knob semi pistol grip stock, and long tang trigger guard configuration favored by many Browning collectors.

The figured walnut stock measures 14 1/4 inches in length of pull with a drop at heel of 2 1/4 inches, drop at comb of 11/2 inches, and approximately 1/8 inch cast off. The gun remains in outstanding original condition, showing very little evidence of handling or use. Bluing is excellent, wood finish remains sharp and attractive, and the checkering is crisp throughout.

Included with the shotgun is its original Browning luggage style hard case, an increasingly scarce accessory that significantly enhances both collector appeal and long term value. The case remains in excellent condition and presents beautifully alongside the gun.
