Offered for sale is an exceptional Browning Superposed Lightning Grade 1 20 Gauge factory two barrel set in as-new condition, complete with its original Browning hard case. Factory two barrel Lightning Grade guns are seldom encountered, particularly in this level of preservation, making this a highly desirable opportunity for the Browning collector, upland hunter, or discerning shotgun enthusiast.

This Superposed is built on the desirable 3 inch Magnum 20 Gauge frame and features a 26 1/2 inch barrel set choked Modified and Full, along with a second matching 26 1/2 inch barrel set choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. Together, the two barrel sets provide outstanding versatility for everything from upland birds and sporting clays to late-season pheasants and waterfowl.

The gun is equipped with a single selective trigger, Lightning style pistol grip stock with short tang, ventilated rib, and single brass front bead. Stock dimensions measure approximately 14 1/4 inches length of pull, 2 1/8 inches drop at heel, 1 3/8 inches drop at comb, and 1/8 inch cast off.

Serial number 63167V70 indicates 1970 production. Both barrel sets are serial numbered to and match the receiver, an important feature for collectors and one that significantly enhances the desirability of this factory set.

Condition is outstanding. The bluing remains excellent throughout, the wood retains its original finish with beautiful figure, checkering remains sharp, and the gun presents as a carefully preserved example.
