1949 Browning A5 16 ga X serial number

This is a very nice vintage Browning Round Knob 16 ga shotgun. It is a standard 16 ga, not a "Sweet 16". This old girl was used but not abused, it was lovingly taken care of as is evident by the shiny bore. The "X" serial number I beleive indicates that it was the first year of manufacture by FN after WW2, 1949. This shotgun is 100% original, I don't think the screws have ever been turned on this gun, it is as good as it gets. We have thoroughly cleaned and examined the A5, it functions flawlessly and the stocks are solid with no cracks. The bluing is faded and worn in the places that you woudl expect it to be but overall is in very good shape. The stock finish is original and though is shows years of handling and has a few scratches it to is in very good shape. The barrel is a 28" full choke with a 2 3/4" chamber. If you are looking for a solid vintage shotgun in 16 ga, look no farther, this is it.
