BROWNING AUTO-5 SIXTEEN GAUGE 2/34" SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN, Made in BELGIUM in 1959
Description:
USED, BROWNING Auto-5 16 Gauge, 2 3/4" Semi-auto Shotgun, Made in Belgium in 1959, with Cutts Compensator. This shotgun has been used, but has been well taken care of during its 67 year life. It functions correctly and shoots true. A Cutts compensator was installed in the '60s to mitigate recoil and make it more versatile. It comes with one screw in Full choke. The stock has not been altered and features the original FN Butt plate. There is a smatt crack in the bottom of the forestock that is common on these Auto-5s. The wood shows many small surface scratches that are shown in the photos. The Metal is very nice. the receiver is nearly perfect but the barrel shows some minor wear. This shotgun is not a Sweet Sixteen. It is a standard weight 16 gauge that feels great to shoot and is fast handling. The bore is clean and shiny.
If you are looking for a versatile 16 gauge for hunting or clays, this would be a good choice.
