Browning Auto-5 Sweet Sixteen 16 Gauge - 99% BLUE, FLAT KNOB LONG TANG vintage firearms inc
Description:
General Specs: Browning, Year 1971, 16 Gauge, 7lb 1oz, Chokes 0.015 M, LOP 14 5/16", DAH 2 7/16", DAC 1 1/2"

Needing little introduction the Browning A5 is one of the most iconic shotguns ever designed. With its humpback receiver design, the Browning Auto-5 is instantly recognizable and with more than 2.7 million made, it is a common sight both in the wild and the more manicured lawns of Skeet and Trap lines! These guns where made to be used and millions of hunters and sportsmen used them hard so it is always a great day to find one in such good condition.
Belgium made in 1971 and certified salt free, this example really is a sweet Sweet Sixteen. Weighing a touch over 7lbs with vented 27 1/2" barrel with modified choke, this Browning Auto-5 carries like a 20 gauge, but delivers shots more like a 12. It's the sweet spot many wish to land in and here is your chance. Exhibiting 99% overall blue and an excellent shiny bore, this gun has the sought after Long Tang and Flat Knob configuration. Perfect checkering on American walnut complimented by excellent engraving which is still sharp and clear, capped with an original Browning buttplate on 14 5/16" stock, and a wonderful trigger with a pull of 4.25lb, this A5 ticks all the boxes.
Considered by many to be the Goldilocks of the Auto-5 line of shotguns as everything is 'just right', its built to be rugged and will just keep on going, act fast and make it yours today - it won't last long!
