Here we have a really nice 1938 Auto 5 FN Belgian Browning Sweet 16 gauge with a 26" Improved Cylinder ventilated rib barrel. This A5 comes in its original 2 9/16" (65mm) chamber size that is often hard to find due to later conversions (16-65 is marked in the horseshoe on the underside of the barrel). Ammo is readily available now (at least online), and every Sweet Sixteen automatic 5 lover should have one or more of these girls in the original chambering. The wood is fantastic and chip/crack free, bluing is nice. Yes it has a little wear here and there, but you don't see these 1930's Gold Trigger / Gold Safety Sweets in this condition very often, and if you do find one, they are in FULL choke not the IC choke you wish you had. Serial number on the barrel and the forend match.
