Description:
There are some interesting aspects to this gun. Seller informed us that this gun was a presentation piece to his Father while working in Arabia in the late 1960s. Gun appears to have been made in 1967, the last year of the round knob stock. Take note of the gold plated safety and bolt release button. Barrel is an unusually long 31 1/2" with a 2 3/4" chamber. Bore measures .729 with 49/1000 Choke (Extra Full). A true "FN" gun, this Model A5 does not have the word "Browning" anywhere on the metal. They did use an A5 Browning butt plate. The serial number has a pre-fix of "1FN", another interesting feature. Light field use with the only appreciable wear concentrated on the stock and forend (a few scrapes and dings as shown). No 3 shot plug. Weight of gun is 8 LBS 9 1/8 OZ. LOP IS 14 3/8". Drop at Comb is 1 5/8". Drop at Heel is 2 3/8". Definitely, a one of a kind gun. Shipping is $50. Credit cards OK with no additional fee.
