Collectors:  This first year production 1955 Browning Double Automatic Twelvette with a rare brown hiduminium aircraft alumium receiver is in excellent condition, both wood and metal.  It has a 27.5" full choke barrel with an engraved buffalo horn butt plate.  These rare guns are hard to find in this condition.

OVERVIEW
The Browning Double Auto is a 12-gauge, short-recoil semi-automatic shotgun designed by Val Browning and produced by FN Belgium (1955–1971). Known for its 2-shot capacity, exceptional balance, and fast handling, it features an inertia-block system, a unique loading port, and no traditional fore-end. Available in three variations based on receiver material—Steel Standard (7.5 lbs), Twelvette (alloy, 6.75 lbs), and Twentyweight (light alloy, 6 lbs)—it is a distinct, fast-handling, 2-round auto-loader.
