Browning Double Auto (Twentyweight) With a Buck Barrel

Browning Double Auto (Twentyweight).  Made 1966 Serial # 6A52XXX.  Has a very rare 24" factory Buck barrel. The barrel has no choke markings. Barrel markings Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo. & Monteal PQ. The barrel has a serial number of 78846. The pink tint of the barrel is common of the Twentyweight barrels because of the alloy used to lighten up the barrels and its reaction to the bluing process.. This  is a factory original Buck barrel and not a modified cut plain barrel with sights added. This is a very rare hard to find combination. In all of my years of collecting and speaking to other collectors, this is the only example of this combination that I have run across and could be one of a kind. The barrel and the gun are in excellent condition and show very little wear. This barrel came from the personal collection of one of the major Double Auto collectors in the country. The outside barrel measurements from a standard weight DBL. Auto slug barrel at the muzzle in front of the sight ramp measures 0.824, this Twentyweight slug barrel measures 0.812. At the back of the front sight ramp the standard slug barrel measures 0.824, this Twentyweight slug barrel measures 0.812. At the front of the barrel lug the standard slug barrel measures 0.890, this Twentyweight slug barrel measures 0.842. Behind the barrel lug the standard slug barrel measures 1.0570, this Twentyweight slug barrel measures 0.995. At the muzzle the barrel wall thickness on the standard slug barrel measures .050, and this Twentyweight barrel muzzle wall thickness measures .047.  (Sale is Pending)
