Browning TWENTYWEIGHT double auto, 12ga, 2 3/4", 26 1/2" VR modified fixed choke, made 1957-61 only

Description:
We have a very nice Browning 12ga, 2 shot auto designed to mimic an o/u or side/side in a lightweight shotgun when a quick followup shot is necessary or desired without the extra baggage encountered when one brings a 5 or 6 shot semi auto to the snooty european or american hunting club. The twentyweight was only offered with a 26 1/2" barrel and made for a wonderful upland game gun that was fast handling and 3/4# less than the other double autos offered. Color black only offered with gold foil embellishments and small script above the loading port- (twentyweight). bottom receiver shows up a bronze tint- all rather even but I've no explanation for this other than normal aging.  This one appears as it did from the factory with no modifications except the buttplate may be a later browning replacement. Retains a solid 96% factory finish both wood and metal. Price includes insured shipping to your dealer- lower 48. Certified funds ship right away and business and personal checks wait a week to clear- sorry no plastic anymore. A FFL or a C&R is acceptable.
