Browning TWENTYWEIGHT double auto, 12ga, 2 3/4", 26 1/2" VR modified fixed choke, made 1957-61 only

Description:
We have a very nice Browning 12ga, 2 shot auto designed to mimic an o/u or side/side in a lightweight shotgun when a quick followup shot is necessary.  The twentyweight was only offered with a 26 1/2" barrel and made for a wonderful upland game gun that was fast handling and 3/4# less than the other double autos offered. Color black only offered with gold foil embellishments and small script above the loading port- (twentyweight). bottom receiver shows up a bronze tint- all rather even but I've no explanation for this other than normal aging. Barrel is 26 1/2" factory ventilated rib with center bead and the usual front bead and fixed modified choke. bore bright and shiny.  This one appears as it did from the factory with no modifications except the buttplate may be a later browning replacement. Retains a solid 96% factory finish both wood and metal. Price includes insured shipping to your dealer- lower 48. Certified funds ship right away and business and personal checks wait a week to clear- sorry no plastic anymore. A FFL or a C&R is acceptable.
