The DA gun has 2 factory Belgium vent-ribbed bbls: (My favorite is short, ribbed bbl 21, with older Poly sweated/welded on (not a Cutts). My go-to for birds, clays and steel shot; general use). Longer orig factory ribbed barrel included. I once worried MN was going to steel shot for all shotgun hunting and added.this Poly. It is older version installed in Fondulac, WI, and permanent. Works. Always have had set on Cyl and has shot well for me, though I do have to say I shoot very well,'cept for the pesky rolling "ground rabbits" in Clays...but pheeze and grouse all drop and get et; Huns if i find, are always a maybeI Also never know choke is on bbl when shooting....
I include a second older style forearm complete with metal, in place.
Also, what appears to be rust pits in pics are not rust or pits. Just the way this camera renders. Gun metal is fine and oiled every few months when stored in corner of bedroom.
Am sure I can sell barrel and stock separately but have always had with gun, so should continue, ! am not looking for profit or collector.
Twentyweight DA's are light, semi-auto shot guns; the Twentyweigts are the lightest. I shoot in T-shirts and fall clothes and all are fine. Lead low base 8s, never mags.
IMO, Browning DA's may be the best semi suto shotgun ever designed or made and sold by anyone, anytime. Only older Benelli guns might equal or Henry single-shot.
Am loath to sell this gun. I just love it..alas time for a 20 or 410.
This DA has been my "go-to" bird, skeet and clays gun since acqured long ago, though I have shot SSs, doubles LCS, Benellis (M1 90), Rem 1100, and a few OUs - never could shoot doubles or OUs???
Short and long barrels are clean. Extra stock has no cracks. See photos
This Twentywieght never failed and I never shot steel or high base shells shrough it, Low 8s, always.
Stocks are factory:(French walnut), Two forearmss with metal, 2-bbls (short bbl Polychoked; plus orig oriig long bbl, both have factory ribbed, Bought as Factory 28" and moved to short field bbl with Polychoke (way faster) - which will handle steel ahot and is instantly changed in field. (Please note: Orig bbl factory length miuzzle-to-breach face is not 28 but 26.5." Browning factory spec of 28" includes full length of barrel breach to end. All Browning bbls measure inches shorter than advertised, using a dowel-to-breach-face, as ATF measures. Browning measures total length, as noted..
Barrels (TWO) are factory.
Note: All Browning barrel interiors widen in the (inside0 middle section, which makes shortening them near impossible (I favor ahortr). Unless they have Polychoked or uses Lyman's longer but complicated Cutts Compensators- most of which are not for steel shot. The Fondulac Polychokes allow for harder steel shot in these steel Belgiums
Origionaly purchased as 28 inch gun, all factory. Again. orig bbl is reallly more like 26 inches...
Shiney, clean bore. My go-to gun. Short is my shooting forte, always, using #8 shot...low base Never shot steel. .
Metal/blue is fine - no rust or pits, etc.;
No stock cracks.
Stocks Also include original bull nose fprarem installed on the gun, and the usual thin-nose spare with metal somponents. Will send highcomb job, when I find,
Also includes two Browning ribbed bbls - one is Polychoked, Walnut factory forearms; sock, overpack case and more.
Will ship to FFL/curio license holder address and buyer residence.
Cell pic of File Copy FFL is fine.
Pics make wood look more worn than is. All is just fine... for me.
Will drive reasonable distance for face-to-face transaction - me masked-man....
Am reducing inventory; not easy to do, as we found,,,keep adding single-shots.
My boys do not hunt and the one grandson is into modern guns, so my cherished DA needs a home!
