Offered here is an exceptional Browning Superposed Continental Grade Combination Set, one of the more desirable and difficult to find configurations ever produced by Browning. This remarkable factory matched set includes both a 20 gauge shotgun barrel set and a .30-06 rifle barrel, all matching to the receiver and housed in the original Browning leather case.

Built on the elegant Superposed platform, this example features 26½ inch 20 gauge barrels with 3 inch chambers and fixed Modified and Full chokes. Accompanying the shotgun barrels is a factory matched .30-06 rifle barrel measuring 24 inches. The gun is fitted with a single selective trigger, English straight grip stock with long tang, and beautifully figured walnut that is far above average for the grade.

Stock dimensions include a 14 1/4 inch length of pull, 2 1/4 inch drop at heel, 1 3/8 inch drop at comb, and approximately 1/8 inch cast-off. The gun is fitted with a single brass front bead on the shotgun barrel set.

The Continental Grade was designed to provide the versatility of both fine shotgun and sporting rifle in one elegant package. Factory combination sets were produced in limited numbers and are increasingly sought after by Browning collectors, particularly when found in original, matching condition with their factory case.
