Very Nice 1955 Belgian Browning Superposed Grade III Fighting Cocks 2 Barrel "Field" Set 28" Full / Improved Modified and 26.5" Mod / IC in Tolex Case


Description:
Up for sale is a very nice original condition Belgium Browning Superposed from the 1950s era! The Grade 3 "Fighting Cocks" engraving pattern was available from 1949 to about 1960 when it was discontinued in favor of the "Pointer" Grade. This specific example is signed by FN Chief engraver Felix Funken on both panels. The engraving is sharp, well executed, and contrasts the grey receiver very well. Also comes with the period correct tolex case with blue interior!

Barrel set 1 measures 28 inches and is choked Full over Improved Modified, barrel set 2 measures 26.5" and is choked Modified over Improved Cylinder. LOP measures 14 3/8 inches to the original horn butt plate.

A very sought after Superposed variation that comes with the 2 best barrel/choke combos available!
