This 1980 Belgian Browning Superposed is a late-production Fabrique Nationale Custom Shop over/under hand-engraved and signed by master Belgian engraver L. Cortis — one of FN's renowned bench engravers whose signed work is sought by collectors. The receiver carries deep-relief hand-cut scroll engraving with full-coverage scrollwork framing an oval game-scene cartouche of upland gamebirds flushing in a wetland setting, with a rosette medallion at the lower receiver corner. Built in 12 gauge with 30" barrels, fixed factory chokes (IM and Full), aftermarket muzzle porting, Schnabel forend, and a 2 3/4" chamber. Pre-owned at 80% condition with honest patina from age and use; bore shows standard wear from age and use; functionally good with no major cracks or breaks.
