Browning B25 B2G Superposed Belgian Custom Shop Consecutive Pair 12ga 32" RH Pre-Owned — 1989 / Engraved by P. Allemano
WOOLLEY SHOOTING ITEM NUMBERS 24888 & 24889 (sold together as a consecutive serial-number pair)
Condition: Pre-Owned — 95% Condition on both guns; very clean overall with only very minor handling marks; mechanically excellent
A truly outstanding pre-owned set: a Belgian Browning Custom Shop B25 B2G Superposed consecutive serial-number pair in 12 gauge with 32" barrels, both made in 1989 at the F.N. plant in Liege and finished at Browning's Belgian Custom Shop. Both guns are hand-engraved and signed by Belgian master engraver P. Allemano, wear matching coin-finish silver receivers with deep relief acanthus scroll and central side-panel game-scene cartouches with rosette accents, both run the 32" Broadway 1/2" ventilated rib with Bradley front bead and ivory center bead, and ride in their own original Browning Custom Shop leather-trimmed luggage cases with burgundy felt interiors and embossed "Browning Custom Shop" lid plaques. The two guns differ in their choke configuration and recoil pad:
1 of 2 — Serial 325NP02939: Original factory fixed chokes — upper barrel marked "**" (IC) and lower barrel marked "*" (IM). Fitted with a brown rubber Pachmayr-style recoil pad. Condition note: minor clear-coat finish wear visible on the top of the receiver.
2 of 2 — Serial 325NP02940: Aftermarket Teague-style thinwall choke conversion — barrels were converted from the original factory fixed chokes to accept thinwall interchangeable choke tubes; the included tubes carry custom markings (gun serial number and constriction marking "1/4" = IC), so while they appear to be Teague chokes, the custom marking pattern prevents us from confirming the manufacturer with certainty. Two IC ("1/4") thinwall chokes are included. Fitted with the factory hard plastic Browning butt pad. Condition note: minor blue wear on the underside of the bottom barrel from forearm contact.
Both guns are mechanically excellent with only very minor handling wear; the high-grade figured walnut stocks remain bright and full-bodied, the polished silver receivers retain crisp engraving with no dulling, and the deep blued barrels are bright through the bores.
