This round knob short tang beauty has striking wood with well more than was common figure, is almost completely free of any but the most minor evidence of handling. It has probably been fired a few times or possibly only test fired. 26 1/2" vr barrels marked IC/Mod.
Seeminly spent its life either in the box or in a safe and is as tight as when it left the factory almost 60 yrs ago.
There is a tiny divit on the stock where it meets the lower part of the receiver just over the trigger guard.
Lever slighty right of center.
There is no other way to rate this extraordinary example than over 95%
