Funken engraved
Description: Browning Gr V 12 gauge O/U shotgun. Made in 1952 and exquisitely engraved by one of the original and one of the very best master engravers from Browning, Felix Funken. This game gun has 26 ½” vent rib barrels choked Full/Full with a single metal front bead. The blue in 97-98%, the coin finish is 98%+ and the wood finish is 95% with the major deduction being for light scratches in the finish on right side rear of the buttstock where the gun would rub a vest or jacket when used by a left hand shooter. The buttstock has a 14 ¼” LOP to the original butt plate, 1 9/16” DAC & 2 3/8” DAH with left hand cast of ¼” at the heel and 3/8” at the toe. It weighs 7 lbs. 6 oz. and comes in what appears to be the original Tolex case. This is a very desirable superposed engraved by the Master Funken. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
