Description:
This is a Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade Skeet 20 gauge with 2 3/4" and 3" chambers and 28" vent rib barrels. The DaC is 1-3/8" and the DaH is 2-3/8". The LOP is 14-5/8" to a black recoil pad and the gun weighs 6 lbs, 9 ounces. The chokes are marked Skeet & Skeet. It has a white mid bead and a white Bradley style front sight. It is a desirable RKLT that was manufactured in 1962. This being an early gun, I believe it has 26 lines per inch checkering, which is very nicely done in typical Belgium Browning fashion. The Pigeon grade features a French gray receiver with 2 flying pigeons surrounded by fine scroll engraving on each side of the frame. The receiver bottom and tangs also exhibit fine scroll work. The engraved bottom tang screws are perfect. It has very crisp mechanicals, very shiny bores, and nicely figured wood. The gun retains a very high percentage of it's rust blue finish (99%) and shows only very, very few light scattered handling marks on the wood. There is no gold loss on the trigger.
