Sale is for a classic and highly desirable Browning Superposed Grade I chambered in 20 gauge 2 3/4 in 28 INCH bbl, early FN production and one of the most sought-after configurations within the Superposed line.
This example features the scarce round knob long tang configuration, a hallmark of earlier Superposed production and a detail that serious Browning collectors actively seek out. Built on a properly scaled 20 gauge frame and weighing just 6 1/2 lbs., this gun offers exceptional balance and handling in the field.
The shotgun is fitted with 28” ventilated rib barrels, chambered for 2 3/4” shells and choked Modified and Full, making it an ideal all around upland or sporting gun. It is equipped with a single selective trigger, white front bead, and white mid bead. Complete restoration by Art Iasaccison, Arts gun shop, 25 years ago.
