Browning Superposed Lightning 20 Gauge with 28” Barrels – Very High Condition
Description: *** REDUCED *** CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION *** Handsome and very high condition Browning Superposed Lightning20 gauge manufactured in Belgium in 1970. Serial number is 626XX V70. Desirable and somewhat rare 28” barrels. Original bluing is deep and rich with only a little wear around the safety slide as to be expected. Original high gloss finish on stock with a few handling marks from normal usage. Gold plated single trigger. This is not a "salt wood" gun - see last photo. Weighs 6lb 5oz. *** The 28” barrels are topped with a thin crosshatched rib and a silver front bead. It is chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells and the chokes are marked Modified and Full. The lower barrel is bored 0.622 with a constriction of 0.015 for Modified choke. The upper barrel is also bored 0.622 and has a constriction of 0.028 for Full choke. *** The pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm are made from highly figured Europeanwalnut. The buttstock has a thin plastic factory Browning buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14” including the thin factory plastic buttplate by 1-3/8” by 2”. Neutral cast. *** Handsome, great handling and in high condition this would make a wonderful addition to a collection as well as a great upland gun afield. *** Please note that the photos are part of the description.
