The Browning Superposed is one of the finest over/under shotguns in history and one of John Browning’s most brilliant designs.  Produced in Belgium, running strong from 1931 through 1977 when traditional production stopped, The Superposed is well known in the upland world here and abroad.   Here we have the venerable Browning Superposed Grade 1 in 20ga. with hard-to-find field chokes.  Most of these guns are found with skeet chokes and are less desirable.  This gun has 26.5" barrels factory choked IC/M and 3” Magnum chambers.  This is a 1973 manufactured Superposed Lightning weighing an ounce over 6lbs! A truly extra light lightning! No need to worry about the infamous salt debacle as this gun was made after Browning had made good on their error. The gun has 98% blue remaining on its receiver while the engraving is crisp and clear, then gun has seen light field use and bears a few handling and field marks on its stock. It has superb wood to metal fit, excellent bores, perfect screws complimented with above average figure in its furniture. The perfect shotgun for upland hunting, and at just 6lbs a joy to carry far and wide, choked just right this is the Superposed to have. Thanks for looking!
