Up for sale is a rare Browning Superposed built circa 1934. This is a double trigger gun, which is a rare option. It is serial number in the 7000‚‚s and every other number I can find on the gun is matching. The gun is in great shape for its age. The bores are mirror bright and ready for many more years of use. The barrels are 26\". The wood is in good shape, there are some small marks and scratches, but nothing uncommon for a hunting gun of its age The bluing is in very good shape, showing typical marks on normal wear points and surfaces, but there is NO evidence of heavy rust on any exterior parts.. The finish is still great with no rust on the barrel and very lite surface rust on the bottom of the receiver. The gun still locks up very tight and the action lever is still well right of center. This gun also has the solid raised rib which is another rare option to throw in the mix, however the rib does have a crack about 2 inches from the break of the barrel (shown in photos). This is overall a very good condition Pre WWII Superposed with very low serial numbers. Still fully functional and a Great collectors item
