Description: ****************SOLD**************** Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “Very Nice” FN Browning Model Superposed Lightning 20 Gauge 26″ Over Under Shotgun Made in 1967. This FN Superposed 20 Lightning Over Under is an all matching shotgun. It was manufactured in 1967 and is not a “SALT” gun. It wears 26 inch barrel that have excellent bores with 3 inch chambers. It is choked Modified / Improved Cylinder. The bluing on the barrels and receiver are in very fine condition as shown. At the bottom of the receiver there is light thinning on the edges from carry. The forearm is sold with no chips, cracks or repairs. The butt stock has one crack as shown in the pictures. It is solid with no movement when pressured. It appears to of been there a long time. The finish shows surface marks and small dings. With the right side showing the most distracting marks as shown in the pictures. The left of the top barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”, the right is marked “SPECIAL STEEL – 20 GA – SHELLS 2 3/4″ AND 3” / PATENTS NO. 2.203.378 – 2.233.861”. Concealed by the forend when assembled, the left of each barrel is marked with crowned “E / LG / *” in oval and “12-75” in oval. At the breech on the left, the top barrel is marked “**” = Modified, the bottom “**-” = Improved Cylinder. The left of the bottom chamber is marked “43983V7” and there are inspector marks on the bottom of the monoblock between the lugs. The left side of the forend latch is marked “43983V7”, the top of the cocking piece is marked “43983V7”. The spring-loaded finger piece for the forend latch is marked “43983V7”. The top tang is marked “43983V7”, the bottom of the receiver is marked “Lightning / BROWNING” with a bust portrait of John Browning, and the water table is marked with Belgian proofs. At the back of the butt stock “43983” the matching number is stamped into the wood. It shows the standard Grade I engraving as you can see. The shotgun is tight and functions as it should. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $65. It will be shipped in a double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
