Rare Pre War Browning Double Single Superposed
Description: Very rare Belgian Browning double single grade one superposed 12 gauge. Built in 1935, this gun has two triggers that are each a true single trigger. All the shooter has to do is decide which barrel to fire first and pull that trigger again to fire the second barrel. This is a great idea designed by John Brownings son Val Browning. A great idea but too expensive to build so they were only offered for a few years and are very hard to find. This one has 26" solid rib barrels choked improved cylinder and modified. The gun is in excellent original condition retaining 90% of the original blue and 98% of the original wood finish. The blue wear is manly on the bottom of the receiver from carrying the gun. The bores are mint and bright. The barrels are on face and lock up with no play. The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage. The stock retains the original Browning over under buttplate. At 6lbs 14oz this is a great walking bird gun and a real clays buster for fun shoots.A real piece of Browning history you can enjoy.
