Superb 20ga "Exhibition" Superlight Engraved By Ron Reimer with Case
Description: Made in 1971, this beautiful lightweight gun has 26 -1/2" Barrels marked for skeet and skeet chokes, are fitted with matted, ventilated rib. Top barrel is marked with Browning St. Louis and Montreal addresses and "MADE IN BELGIUM" on left. Gun was made with original 3" chambers. Coin finished Superlight action with gold-plated single selective trigger is engraved with well cut scroll within geometric borders surrounding scenes of game birds and dogs; left side portrays pointer retrieving pheasant, and another pointer is on point as a covey of quail take wing on right side. Ducks are on bottom of action and a flushing woodcock is on trigger guard bow. Engravers signature "R. Reimer" is on trigger plate. Ron Reimer was Browning's in-house master engraver at their service facility who has since retired. This gun is a fantastic example of his post factory work. Nicely marbled and finely fiddleback figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14 - 1/8" over original Browning buttplate with drops of 1-7/16 at comb and 2-1/8" drop at heel. Checkering is 2-point pattern through the wrist . Schnabeled one piece forend matches perfectly. Brown Hartman case is lined in faux fur, and contains the original key. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all factory type finishes on all wood and metal surfaces with only a very few light handling and assembly marks. Bore are brilliant and shiny. Mechanically fine. Case is excellent. The gun is priced at $SOLD shipped to your FFL. This is your chance to buy a superbly engraved lightweight Browning with great wood and dimensions at a very favorable price! Please dont hesitate to email or call me with any questions.
